Looking for an outdoor activity in Sonoma County Wine Country? How about renting a bicycle in Guerneville, and riding along the majestic Russian River, through the redwood forest, to a winery, or even to the Sonoma Coast? We are a local bike rental company in Guerneville, and we deliver on-demand 7 days a week for free!
Guerneville, Ca. is located about 15 miles east of the Sonoma coast, near Jenner and Bodega Bay, in the heart of the Sonoma County Wine Country. We are a local bike rental company located in the town of Guerneville. We are about 60 miles north of San Francisco, just north of Marin County, and about an hour west of the Napa Valley.
Guerneville is a small eclectic town in the forest, surrounded by vineyards and redwoods. At the heart of Guerneville is the beautiful Russian River, as seen in the photo at the top of the page. We have lots of fresh air, coastal climate temperatures that are typically from the high 70's - 80's in the summer, and beautiful trees and wildlife all around. Guerneville is home to Armstrong Woods State Park, and Korbel Champagne Cellars is about 2 miles to the east.
The Guerneville area is a must ride for many cyclists due to the natural beauty and winding forest and vineyard roads that lead to the coast. In 2012, the first leg of the Amgen Tour of California started in Santa Rosa, and made it's way through Monte Rio, about 4 miles west of Guerneville. The photo to the right (below the Sonoma Coast) was taken from the Monte Rio bridge. It is an awesome sight to see these athletes during a major bicycle competition, flying through the trees.
We host an annual triathlon in the summer, which is one of the most popular triathlons in the world.
World class cyclists can be seen training in the area year round. Come explore all of the natural beauty and goodness that the Sonoma County Wine Country and the Russian River have to offer, at your own pace. You don't have to be a professional athlete to take a ride and see why they have chosen to ride here. You might just want to take a leisurely ride around town and check out the very interesting locals, visit one of our many small art galleries, shops, restaurants, or maybe even ride to a yoga class or to get a massage. Take a short ride to Armstrong Woods and back, or even a one-way ride to Korbel or beyond. We know the local wine roads that are popular with many cyclists.
We deliver and pick-up for free, anywhere you want within 15 miles*, usually within an hour or less. We have local knowledge of the area without the expensive rates and strict schedules of out of town tour groups. We have selected Marin bikes because they are a local manufacturer that makes very good quality bikes. Hybrids have been selected because they are a good multi-purpose option for the geography. Compare our rates with out of town wine tasting tour groups. You will see what a great deal we are offering for those that want to ride when they want and where they want.
Our standard bikes have rates starting at just $25 for 4 hours, or $45 per 24 hours for the first day. Subsequent days are discounted to $30. We have a discounted weekly rate of $200. In addition, we offer 20% off for 4 or more bikes for all rental lengths. "Like" us on Facebook and get an additional $5 off your total. We will provide a helmet, lock, removable front basket, maps, and free wine tasting passes if requested at the time of delivery.
